ONDC Seller Registration
ℹ️ What is ONDC Seller Registration?
What is ONDC Seller Registration?
The Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) is a Government of India initiative to democratize e-commerce.
It is an open digital network where sellers can list their products or services and get visibility across multiple buyer apps such as:
- Paytm
- PhonePe
- Meesho
- Magicpin
- Mystore
- Digiit
- Pincode (Zomato)
- Craftsvilla
- Spice Money …and more.
ONDC works on a network model, meaning:
- You register once → your products appear on all participating buyer apps.
- Customers from multiple platforms can buy from you.
ONDC Seller Registration allows MSMEs to:
- Sell products online
- Get more customer reach without relying on a single marketplace
- Reduce commissions and dependency on Amazon/Flipkart-type platforms
Why is it Needed?
ONDC is especially beneficial for MSMEs because it:
- Provides fair visibility to small sellers
- Has lowest commission charges compared to major e-commerce platforms
- Offers access to digital commerce without platform lock-in
