The Ministry of Textiles has repositioned Integrated Textile and Apparel Development Centres (ITADCs) as one-stop facilitation hubs providing skill development, testing, technology support, entrepreneurship development, credit facilitation, export promotion and market linkages for textile MSMEs. The Ministry also highlighted the impact of the Amended Technology Upgradation Fund Scheme (ATUFS), under which over 10,000 textile units have received ₹2,776 crore in subsidy, leveraging investments exceeding ₹53,000 crore and generating around 3.6 lakh direct jobs.
