The Government of India has revised the timeline for fresh applications under the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme for Textiles, extending the deadline to 31 March 2026. Since the reopening of the application portal in August 2025, the scheme has seen substantial interest from the industry, with submissions spanning MMF apparel, MMF fabrics, and technical textiles. The extended window is intended to allow wider participation and support investment across identified textile segments. Applications will continue to be accepted through the portal pli.texmin.gov.in until the updated deadline.
