The Ministry of Corporate Affairs has launched the Companies Compliance Facilitation Scheme (CCFS) 2026 to give all companies — especially MSMEs — a one-time opportunity to clear pending annual filings at much lower fees, or to voluntarily move to dormancy or closure at a reduced cost. The scheme is designed to make compliance easier, lower financial pressure, and ensure the MCA-21 registry has accurate and up-to-date company information. It is valid from 15 April 2026 to 15 July 2026, giving businesses a limited period to become fully compliant and avoid future penalties or strike-off actions.
Key Highlights for MSMEs
- 90-day window: 15 April 2026 – 15 July 2026
- Pay only 10% of additional filing fees for pending MGT-7/A, AOC-4, ADT-1, and other forms
- Dormant status: File MSC-1 with 50% of normal fees
- Strike-off (closure): File STK-2 at 25% of filing fees
- Immunity: No penalty if filed before AO notice or within 30 days of notice
- Who cannot apply: Companies already under final strike-off notice, already applied for strike-off/dormancy, amalgamated entities, vanishing companies
- Post-scheme action: ROC will initiate a penalty or strike-off for continued non-compliance
